Pet-Trek®: Add Wheels to your Dog Carrier or Cat Carrier
Glide seamlessly with our innovative Pet-Trek®, a 4 spinner wheel folding trolley.
What is a Pet-Trek® Pet Trolley?
We combine our fashionable, removable pet carriers with a four spinner wheel foldable trolley cart.
An increasing number of pet owners are traveling with their pets, whether it’s running errands, or traveling to destinations near and far. The challenge of carrying a pet in a carrier quickly gets uncomfortable, for the pet owner. The solution lies in the development of our patent pending Pet-Trek®, a 4-spinner-wheel folding trolley which takes the weight off the pet owners’ shoulders and back, allowing them the freedom to transport their pet effortlessly.
The Pet-Trek® is designed to work seamlessly with our pet carriers, making it easy for pet owners to travel with their small pets safely and comfortably. Whether it's a dog, cat, iguana, or other small pet, the Pet-Trek® makes it easier. Simply open, unfold the Pet-Trek® and slide the carrier down the handle. Upon arrival at the destination, lift the carrier off the handle and fold the Pet-Trek® for storage.
What are the benefits of having a Pet-Trek®
While there are many wheeled bags for carrying dogs and cats, they often will cause your pet serious stress.
This is because of a few factors:
Certain wheeled bags may have only 2 wheels. This often means your dog, cat, or other pet is tilted in a backwards 45 degree angle, which can create anxiety for them during the travel experience. With this kind of travel bag, over time, your pet may come to really fear their wheeled bag. However, the Pet-Trek® lets you easily move in any and every direction with ease. This allows the animal to sit or lay in a natural, horizontal position, which is familiar to them and permits them to feel safe and comfortable. This helps to maximize comfort for your canine or feline companion during travel.
Other wheeled bags often have the wheels attached to the bag. Not only does this make it difficult to slide your pet carrier under the seat in front of you if the wheels get misaligned, it also means (because of the clearance required by the wheels) that your pet will have less room while traveling. Our airline approved pet carriers are separate from the Pet-Trek®, making it easier to slide your pet carrier under the seat in front of you (into the airline approved space), giving your pet more space in the carrier itself. The Pet-Trek® is then folded and placed in the overhead luggage compartment.
There are are some pet carrier styles which are wheeled bags that let you remove the wheels. While this is nice in theory, those wheels are often easily lost or misplaced. Then you're forced to carry your pet the rest of the way, wherever you are when you realize the wheels are lost. With the Pet-Trek®, there's no concern that wheels will be lost because it's all one unit, which folds away easily and nicely.
Frequently Asked Questions (About pet carriers and airline travel with pets):
Is it cruel to carry my puppy in a bag or backpack?
It can be. It depends how you go about it. If you use a regular backpack without a lot of consideration for your puppy or kitten's well-being, then yes, of course it would be cruel to carry a pet in a backpack or bag.
However, the fact that you're even asking this question says that you're looking for ways to make the travel experience as fun and comfortable as possible. Your pet (especially a dog) wants to be with you.
By taking the time to make the journey a pleasant one, we think you're actually being kind, caring, and loving in how you carry your pet while traveling.
